The Ahrntal in winter

In winter you can simply clip on your skis and immerse yourself in the breathtaking winter wonderland

There are 2 fantastic ski resorts in the near surroundings:

Ski area Speikboden

The ski resort is only 4 km away from our house. Regular shuttle busses run from the village to the ski area. The newly constructed cableway (cabins) brings you safely and fast from the base station to the summit station at an altitude of about 2.000m.

Ski area Klausberg

The ski resort is located on the southern side of the Alps, in the midst of the holiday paradise Ahrntal. The most modern ski lifts will take you up to the mountain stations, where countless perfectly prepared slopes await you.

With the ski shuttle you can reach the ski resort Klausberg in a few minutes, it is approx. 9 km away. In addition to that, there is always an ample parking space available.

Here you can enjoy fantastic cross-country ski runs and many entertaining sled runs. You’re only 3 km away from Weißenbach, which is famous throughout South Tyrol for its outstanding toboggan run.

Snow-capped mountains, perfectly groomed slopes and various descents promise a lot of fun and excitement.
